Applicants must have passed their SSC/Equivalent exam in 2017 or later and HSC / Equivalent in 2019 or 2020. That means, students can apply for 2nd time admission test.

A Unit – Candidates must have minimum GPA 4.00 in both SSC and HSC examinations separately

B Unit – Candidates must have minimum GPA 3.50 in both SSC and HSC examinations separately. Science/Arts/Commerce/ Equivalent students can apply this unit

C Unit – Candidates must have minimum GPA 3.50 in both SSC and HSC examinations separately. Science/Arts/Commerce/ Equivalent students can apply this unit.

C1 Unit – In both SSC & HSC examinations, minimum GPA 3.25 is required for the Department of Drama and Dramatics and minimum GPA 3.50 is required for the Department of Fine Arts.

D Unit – Candidates must have minimum GPA 4.00 in SSC and HSC examinations separately.

E Unit – In both SSC & HSC examinations, minimum GPA 3.75 is required for Humanities & Business Studies students and minimum GPA 4.00 is required for Science group students

F Unit – Candidates must have minimum GPA 4.00 in both SSC and HSC examinations separately

G Unit- Candidates must have minimum GPA 4.00 in both SSC and HSC examinations separately

H unit – Candidates must have minimum GPA 4.00 in both SSC and HSC examinations separately

I Unit – Candidates must have minimum GPA 3.50 in both SSC and HSC examinations separately

Candidates will be evaluated based on 100 marks. There will be 80 marks in the admission test and 20 marks will be on the result of SSC and HSC.

80 Marks (Admission Test) – Admission test will held in 80 Marks & every question value is 1. Students will get 55 minutes for answering all the questions and 5 minutes reserved for OMR sheet passing. 0.20 marks will deduct for every wrong answer & pass mark is 27 out of 80 marks.

20 Marks ( SSC & HSC GPA) – (HSC GPA x 2.5 ) + ( SSC GPA x 1.5 ) = 20

The total admission test procedure of Jahangirnagar university is divided into 10 unit according to faculty and area of study. Theses units are named by A,B,C,C1,D,E,F,G,H,I. Admission test for different unit will be held in different time. Question pattern and examination system differ from one unit to another. Requirement for participating in admission test of JU is also differ from one unit to another.

Each unit of Jahangirnagar University has separate seats for male and female students. Here we attach unit wise seat distribution.

Online Application Procedure

Students have to Apply Online And Application Form Fee have to Pay Through DBBL Mobile Banking. Mention That, Previous Year System was Teletalk SMS Application. So From This Year The Authority of JU Introduce Online Application System.

Candidates have to Complete Application Form By Three (3) Step

1. Fill Up Online Application Fee and Get Bill Number for Pay Application Fee
2. Pay Application Fee By DBBL Mobile Banking and Collect Transaction ID (Txnid)
3. Upload Photo and Signature by Using Bill Number and Transaction ID (Txnid) and Collect Admission Test Admit Card.

Payment Instruction:

• Dial *322# from your Rocket Account (DBBL Mobile Banking Account)
• Select 1 for Payment.
• Select 1 for Bill Pay.
• Type the Biller ID 343 for Jahangirnagar University
• Type the Bill Number
• Enter the Amount of Bill (See the Unit wise Application Fees)
• Input your PIN Number and Complete the Payment.

Apply Instruction:

• Prepare a Color Photograph 300×300 Pixel and Signature into 300×80 Pixel within 100 KB.
• Visit https://www.ju-admission.org and Fill up the Application form Carefully.
• Print out the Application Form and Note down the Biller Id.
• Complete the Payment via DBBL Mobile Banking.
