How to Apply
❖ Application processing fee is Taka 750.00 (Seven Hundred Fifty) only for each faculty
❖ Application processing fee must be deposited online through your preferred Card/Mobile Financial Services/Internet Banking. Service charge is applicable. Detailed Payment procedure is available at "How to Apply" link on the admission website admission.bup.edu.bd

Special Instructions
❖ Admission Test will be taken in MCQ System and 0.25 marks wiil be deducted for each wrong answer
❖ Candidates having foreign degree (Except 'O'/'A' Level/International Baccalaureate) must have-the equivalence certificate from Ministry of Education/Education Board/University Grants Commission of Bangladesh
❖ Following mark distribution will be followed for the assessment of candidates: (1) Written Test=65%, (2) Viva-voce=15%, (3) HSC/Equivalent Result=05% and SSC/Equivalent Result=15% (Total=100%)
❖ Help Desk will remain open from 0900 hours to 1700 hours on each working day from 02 February 2021 to 15 March 2021 at the reception of the university. For any query, applicants may call at 09666790790 during this time
❖ Admission cancellation and refund of admission fee will be executed as per following:
✓ Before the commencement of class: 90% of the total admission fee may be refunded.
✓ From 1-15 days after the commencement of class: 75% of the total admission fee may be refunded.
✓ From 16-30 days after commencement of class: 50% of the total admission fee may be refunded.
✓ Since 30 days after commencement of class: No amount of total admission fee may be refunded.
❖ Incomplete application will not be considered for admission. BUP authority reserves all rights to cancel candidature of any candidate without showing any reason.
❖ The university authority reserves the right to cancel/modify/change any information given in this advertisement.

About BUP
Establishment of a university for the armed forces educational and training institutes was a long felt need. National security, war strategy, medical, engineering and technology related to higher studies are in high demand at present.
To keep pace and to be at par with the fast developing world, the national higher studies, research enabling modern knowledge and creating scope for education and studies are the obligations to be fulfilled. In order to expand and integrate the existing educational and training institutes of the armed forces, they were needed to be brought under a single umbrella or authority. Thereby, the establishment of Bangladesh University of Professionals, (BUP) took place in that process and came in to being as 29th public university of Bangladesh on 05 June 2008." BUP is a unique public university run by the armed forces with upholding the motto "EXCELLENCE THROUGH KNOWLEDGE". The youngest university is confident in furthering the knowledge in the field of national security, technology and modern science to achieve the desired human resources development of the country.
